I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind: Where are you from? Are you looking to breed? Do you have any  pets? Kids? If so, could you please provide their ages? How long will the puppy be left alone per day?

Waiting List

Being put on our waiting list is a great way to experience adding another addition to your family!

* We update you every week, by e-mail, letting you know how the mom-to-be is doing.
* Sometimes pictures will be attached, whether it is to show you the mom's progress or just to show you the mom and dad. For example, if they do something goofy.
*If you come up with any names, let me know. We don't expect people to keep our names, but you are always welcome.
* At about 58 days, we take the mom in to get a x-ray, showing us how many puppies she has. Our lucky number is "5"!
* Usually, their due date is between 58 to 63 days. So, during that time, we might be e-mailing you more than often, telling you possibly that your baby is on the way!
*Finally, we will set everything up (It might take us a couple of days to re-adjust, so please be patient)!
* Most importantly, please be honest with us. If you have found something else, or aren't enamored by anyone of the puppies,it won't hurt out feelings at all. Please do not buy a puppy on impulse! Also, please don't buy a puppy, if you are not enamored by it, if it doesn't catch your eye. We want to know that you are ready to welcome one of our babies into your home.

We are very serious and picky when we place our puppies into homes.

Deposit Information

* In order for us to hold a dog for you, you must put between a $250 non-refundable, or transferable deposit; unless something happens to the dog in our care. If deposit is not received in 1 WEEK ,by mail, then the dog will be put back up for sale. We accept  personal checks and cash. Personal checks are for deposit holders only! If making out a check please make it out to Kathy Corcoran.

Purchasing Information

* Every week, we update you on your baby, and of course, pictures will be included.
* At 6 weeks, and 48 hours after vaccination you can visit your baby! Our vet HIGHLY recommends us doing this, and we understand before you put down a deposit, you want to see the puppy, but please keep in mind, the puppy will be available to anyone, if a deposit is not put down or on its way. All we can do is let you know when someone does become interested. She also recommends no one bringing their pets, because my pets might not be immune to something your pets are, and visa versa. It is my job as a breeder and a furry parent to ensure everyone is comfortable and healthy.
*  Finally, you can bring your baby home ( no sooner than 8 weeks).
* At this time, you will give me the full payment in cash.
* There would be a contract to sign. I give a 1 year health guarantee against genetic diseases. Here is a link: http://xodoxies.com/Contract.html.
* A blanket and a syringe will be included.
* We feed our dogs Blue Buffalo Puppy Food, but we completely understand if you want to use something else, so in that case, we will give you a small baggy of our food.

I love it when you send me pictures, and tell me how they are. I will put your pictures on my site!
We are not just breeders, we our a lifetime support to you and your furry family member!

Our Program

Our moms only breed once a year, from about two years old, till they are about four to five years old; plus or minus, depending on alot of things. Dads, samething. We usually have 3-4 litters per year. All of our "babies" live in our home; they are our pets. ALL of our furry family members, ALWAYS have a home here. Purchasing one of our puppies is a lifetime commitment of love and care. Whether it is breeding, whelping, etc., we are there every step of the way. All puppies are up-to- date on everything, and they are 100% healthy; our vet is 100% behind us. We go by everything she says. We try to breed for the best; we have researched all of our dogs' pedigrees, to make sure they won't throw anything like, back problems.

Purchasing More Than One Puppy

*In case you were wondering, we do take $50 off when you buy a second puppy from us.
* If you are getting two puppies at once, it is a great way to acclimate your babies into your home. But, keep in mind, it is more work. We don't recommend people that have never had a doxie, or this is their first dog to buy two at once.

Also, we don't recommend people getting, at least, one of our doxies, if they want a barkless, no mess dog. Dachshunds have small bladders, so expect to have accidents. Proper potty training will prevent this.

Long Vs. Short     Female Vs. Male

There is no difference, except appearance wise!

Dachshund Sizes

A mini is 11 lbs. and under, a standard is 16 lbs. and up, and anything in between that, can be called a tweenie. We breed minis, tweenies, and occasionally standards.
